Larvae feed on decaying oak/beech wood and decaying oak /beech leaves
Adults feed on ripe fruit or jelly pots 
Egg to adult 12- 18 months 
These larvae are well grown on and so should be pupating in the next six months or so.
Adult life span 3- 5 months
