Shiitake Block Large

Shiitake Blocks are made from oak sawdust which then has mushrooms growing on it. The mushrooms strip the wood of all the parts that are difficult for beetle larvae to digest and leave behined the ideal medium for mixing into other substrates. We mix the sawdust from these shitake blocks in with our Leaf mulch for species that also like to feed on decaying logs.
