Phyllium philippinicum – Leaf Insect (UK-Bred)

Enclosure: A tall, well-ventilated enclosure is essential, allowing plenty of height for safe moulting. 
Temperature: Ideal range of 22–26 °C, with a natural drop at night to around 18 °C. Avoid prolonged exposure above 28 °C, as this can be harmful.
Humidity: Light misting daily is recommended — aim to dampen the enclosure and leaves rather than spraying the insects directly.
Diet: Feeds readily on bramble, rose and oak, both widely available and reliable foodplants. Provide fresh foliage regularly.
