Pachnoda ephippiata 1st - 2nd Instar

You could recieve 5 x 1st Instars, 5 x 2nd Instars or a mix of 5 x 1st/2nd Instars depending on availability. 
This stunning sub-species of Pachnoda ephippiata are relatively new to the UK hobby. 
Their care is the same as most other Pachnodas. The only differece seems to be that providing a warm basking spot seems to result in better egg laying in the females. 
Adults feed on ripe fruit or beetle jelly. 
Larvae feed on decaying oak/beech mulch 
Development time from egg to adult is 8 - 9 months
Adults can live 6 months +
