Blue Morpho Butterfly 
Pupae should be hung up in an emerging cabinet. It is possible to make one using a faunarium with damp tissue/cappilary matting in the bottom to keep the humidity up. We attach the pupae to a small wooden dowel using copydex glue (NOT HOT GLUE OR SUPER GLUE!). The dowel should be cut to the right size so it can be wedged between either end of the faunarium so that the pupae are suspended 3-4 inches above the floor of the faunarium (or high enough that when the butterflies hatch they can unfold their wings without getting them trapped). Then the butterlfies can be transferred to a large netted enclosure. They require tropical conditions with temperatures of 26 degrres C - 28 degrees C but will tolerate some fluctuations. Adults feed on ripe fruit and sugar water and will live 4 - 8 weeks.
