Compsocephalus dimitriewi - 1st - 2nd Instar x 1
This is a stunning species of flower beetle! Not a species that is readily available in the UK. Larvaeare easy to rear on decayed oak but do like a cool period once they reach L3 to around 18 degrees C.
Adults feed on ripe fruit and jelly pots
Larvae feed on Oak leaf mulch or flake soil
Egg to adult = 10 -15 months
Adult live up to 6 months
